Maxi Jazz, il cantante dei Faithless, è morto a 65 anni

Maxi Jazz, voce dei Faithless, la band londinese trip hop che contribuì a fondare nel 1995 insieme a Sister Bliss e Rollo, è morto: aveva 65 anni.

«Era un uomo che ha cambiato le nostre vite in diversi modi – si legge nel post che la band ha pubblicato nei suoi canali social – ha dato il giusto significato alla nostra musica. Era un adorabile essere umano, con tempo per tutti e una saggezza profonda e accessibile. È stato un onore e, ovviamente, un vero piacere lavorare con lui».

Jazz, il cui vero nome era Maxwell Fraser, era nato nel 1957 a Brixton, in Inghilterra. Dopo vari anni a lavorare come deejay, nel 1984 fondò The Soul Food Cafe System, la sua prima
